Cindy Zomar is the Admissions & Public Relations Coordinator for Assabet. She has been a part of the Aztechs since she became a teacher at Assabet 10 years ago. With a background in sales and financial analysis, she is the corporate liaison for the Aztechs, and helps to find sponsorships and mentors for the team.
Henry Viles
is an Assabet teacher in the Design & Visual Communications shop. He has been a part of the Aztechs since the team originally started in 1994. He works and helps the students with the media department and lends his hand to help the team in anything else that needs assistance
Fred Lenardo is a Carpentry Instructor and engineering teacher at Assabet. He has worked as a mentor for the Aztechs for 7 years, originally learning about FIRST from his previous job. During the FIRST meetings his main job is helping with various mechanical works and making sure that everyone is staying on task.

Kevin Martins is a software engineer at Raytheon where he learned of the Aztechs when they came into his work 3 years ago. He soon came onto the team as a mentor and helps assist students to program the robot.
Joseph Popek continues to help in the family aspect of FIRST Robotics. He first learned of the Aztechs when his son came onto the team in 2003 and has continued while his daughter, current Aztechs senior Rebecca Popek, has been a part as well. For the last 5 years, he has worked with the students in assisting in all aspects of engineering, building, and planning for the robot.
Ben Hebert is a manufacturing team leader at Intel where he first learned of the Aztechs. Although he has been a part of FIRST robotics for 10 years with another team, this is his first year working with the Aztechs. At the meetings he helps assist and teach students to work with all mechanical and electrical design and work.
Chris Horman first learned of FIRST when his son, Aztechs mentor Ryan Horman, was introduced to the team 9 years ago. He works with the students and other mentors with various mechanical works, eager to help out wherever needed.
Christine Ebstein is another team parent on the Aztechs. With a past of professional baking, she has assisted in the team’s lunches on Saturdays and has given spirit and inspiration on the team for the last two years.

Ian Dunigan has been a part of the team for 5 years, originally starting as a student at Assabet. He started working with the welding of the robot and continued to get more involved each year. In addition to the welding, he now works with anything mechanical.

Nate Kendell has been a part of the team for 9 years. He originally started as an Assabet student on the team working with machining and mechanical engineering. He still works with the mechanical side and advises current students.
Shamus Hughes is on his 6th year with the Aztechs, originally starting when he was a freshman. He first started working by drafting various parts for the robot and in addition, he now helps with any other mechanical assistance the team needs.
